Run your own crew hour cost, visit counts and route numbers through these two calculators before you quote your next season package.
Most pricing arguments in this trade come down to two numbers nobody has written down: what an hour of crew time actually costs you loaded, and how many weekly stops a crew can hold before the day runs past dark. Every other decision, from what a season package should cost to whether you can take on twelve more properties across town, sits on top of those two figures.
These calculators are free, they run in your browser, and nothing you type is saved anywhere. Use realistic inputs from your own shop rather than trade averages. A crew hour cost that ignores payroll taxes, workers compensation, trailer fuel and equipment replacement will produce a season price that looks competitive in February and hurts you by July.

Work these four stages between November and March and you will start the season with a committed route instead of a phone list.
Every lawn care owner already runs these numbers, usually in a truck cab with the trailer still hitched behind. It happens on the back of a fuel receipt in February, when somebody multiplies a guessed forty five minutes a lawn by twenty eight cuts, adds a rough figure for both cleanups and six yards of mulch, and calls that a season price. It happens again in May, when the same owner counts driveways on a route sheet and tries to work out whether twelve houses on the far side of town will fit a Tuesday that already ends at seven. Nobody asks you to register for a login to do that arithmetic on paper, so we did not put a form in front of the version that does it properly.
Both calculators are worth having even if you never look at our software again. Knowing your loaded crew hour cost, with payroll taxes, workers compensation, blades, fuel and the reserve that replaces the zero turn in five years, changes what you are willing to put on a season agreement in February. Knowing that your crews top out at a certain number of weekly accounts once windshield time is counted changes whether you sell that far neighborhood or fill the hole three streets from a property you already cut. They run in your browser, nothing you type is stored, and the figures belong to you whether you buy anything or not.
A defensible package price and an honest ceiling on weekly accounts are the two figures that decide your spring. What happens next is whether they reach last season's customers before the first warm week in April or sit in a notes app until the grass is already growing. Book a walkthrough and watch that offseason outreach run against a real book of mowing properties.
